We were engaged by the Midland Drug and Alcohol Task Force to develop a strategy for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation support services in counties Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath for the period 2017-2020.

As well as literature review, we carried out extensive consultation with service users, providers, directors and managers inside and outside the Task Force, and third-sector organisations tackling problem drug and alcohol use.

Our strategy assesses the Task Force’s external environment and internal capabilities. We have formulated its mission, vision and values, and set out a clear and complete plan of goals, actions and outcomes.
